Located in Downtown Owatonna, this five span deck girder bridge crosses the Straight River.
Built in approximately 1901, this bridge features five spans of deck girder. These lightweight deck girder spans sit on concrete and stone substructures.
This structure is the second of nine similar structures over the Straight River. Like other bridges along the line, the bridge does have some structural deterioration, mostly due to flooding. A fire also occurred on the bridge in 2008.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in fair condition, with some corrosion at the joints of the girders.

The author has ranked this bridge as locally significant, due to the common design.
